We offer a range of Disability Assessments primarily for those studying and working in the county of Kent and London.
We have particular skills in providing educational assessments for students that need to be assessed for their Disabled Students Allowance. On occasion we are able to visit clients at home. It may be necessary for such visits to include a chaperone.
There are a variety of assessors that work across the county and have knowledge and experience of assessing on a variety of disabilities from physical disabilities and fatigue related conditions to areas of mental health and dyslexia.
Our experienced and skilled assessors come from a variety of backgrounds including local authorities, voluntary organisations and particularly education.
The opening hours for our main centre at the Historic Dockyard, Chatham and Maritime Assessment Centre, Greenwich and outreach centres at East Kent College, Broadstairs and Lombard House, Canterbury are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We have a 24-hour telephone answering service operating seven days a week. We do not have a waiting list for appointments, all appointments will be held within 15 working days in compliance with the DSA QAG QAF. We charge a single assessment fee which will cover all work for the duration of the course.
